Title : Sign Language Interpreter (Temporary Part -Time)
Position Summary : (Temporary / Part Time, As Needed)
Facilitate communication in the classroom and in college related activities.
Hours : Temporary Contract. Up to 25 hrs / variable times
Department : Disability Services
Duties and Responsibilities :
Interpret from Sign Language to English and from English to Sign Language among deaf or hard of hearing
students, instructors, and staff.
Required Qualifications : Professional training from an Interpreter Training Program and one year interpreting experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Work Characteristics : The commitment to adhere to the RID / NAD Professional Code of Conduct
Preferred Qualifications : RID-NAD certification.
