What You'll Do :
As the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for our overall portfolio assessment & optimization for all of KIND’s categories.
In this role, you will work cross functionally with numerous cross-functionals teams to identify opportunities based on market and customer dynamics to support sustainable and profitable growth.
As the Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you will be the internal voice of the customer team across the entire commercialization process and the external voice of the Marketing team across the Sales team and customers.
You will have many high visibility opportunities across the organization and this role will allow you to make a large impact on the business.
And this is how you will do it
Being the voice of the customer to the internal HQ team and being the voice of HQ to Sales
- Will become lead consultant and representative for respective channels, ensuring consideration of marketplace dynamics for respective customers are taken into account as projects, initiatives or issues arise
- Will represent Sales in internal meetings such us Stage gate, Step 1 and all innovation projects
- Will represent Brand in customer meetings as needed, making sure we properly communicate and deliver KIND Strategy
Developing an overall multi-channel Go-To-Market Strategy
- You will spearhead case pack & pricing architecture across National Channels (Mass, Grocery & Ecom) partnering with SRM / Brand and the other Sr Trade Marketing Management
- Leading the development of best in class standards for respective channels (considerations include, but are not limited to packaging, design, value architecture, etc)
- Leading the relationship with Sales from a Trade Marketing standpoint to support the different strategies by channel, Developing channel specific marketing and support initiatives
- Execute the Path to Purchase fundamentals in this channel; including but not limited to category captain insights & best in class aisle flow and organization
Developing a successful innovation Strategy
- Will represent Sales internally for innovation Strategy, partnering with Brand for both long term and short term innovation projects
- Work closely with the Category team to implement path to purchase and influence the organization to execute it
- Partner with Demand Planning and Brand for Innovation Forecasting
- Partner with Sales for Innovation meetings and Line reviews for assortment recommendation, taking into account performance, customer strategy, KIND strategy and profitability
Leader in Best in Class selling tools
- Partner with Category and Brand to deliver Best in class Seling Stories to implement both Base and Innovation Strategy
- Lead all materials for Brand Growth Plan and National Sales Meeting
- Develop channel specific selling Decks, supporting Sales for Line Revies and any customer meeting
- Partner with cross functional teams to develop Best in Class Innovation selling stories, Selling Sheets, One pagers, etc
- Partner with Category on other tools like Portfolio Trackers, SKU prioritization list and any Perfect Store initiative

You have
- 6+ years of Marketing and / or Sales experience (Ideally both)
- Cross functional exposure to other Business Operations
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
- Omnichannel expertise preferred
- Good understanding of Customer Management Process
- Proven analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen / IRI, Kantar, Panel Data, A&Us)
- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills
- Computer proficient (Microsoft Office)
- Strong organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and time management skills
- Based in NYC area preferred, ability to travel to NYC on a regular basis if not
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $92,000 to $122,500 .
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs.
The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
