Polymaker has been active in the US since 2013. We have built up a network of channel partners who serve end-users from all over the United States.
Our end-users are hobbyists, professionals and industrial customers who 3D print high quality parts using our filaments.
From our 40,000 SF facility in Missouri City, TX, we currently manage the production, sales, marketing, planning, and distribution of 3D printing filament for the North America region.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Winding Operator is responsible for operating the winding and drying equipment supporting filament extrusion lines. Winding equipment consists of either a manual or automatic winder.
Drying equipment consists of standalone ovens.
POSITION TYPE
Full Time, Hourly
The Winding Operator reports directly to the Shift Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Operation of winding and drying equipment
- Document production rate against shift plan and complete work order information
- Document all equipment, material, and quality issues during shift
- Follow all process work instructions
- Follow all company environmental, health, and safety standards
- Stop work authority STOPS all work if unsafe conditions are identified
- Communicate areas of improvement
Key Expectations :
- 12 Hour Shifts; from 3 4 shifts / week (alternating schedule)
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility
- Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching are normal expected movements during a shift
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing or refinery facility
- Willingness to learn and teach others
- Open to taking direction and accepting feedback from others
- Willingness to learn and adopt core values of the company

Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range :
$14.50 $16.00 / HR commensurate with experience. A $1 / hour shift differential is added for night shifts
