Assistant Controller - Real Estate ($150,000 basepay)

Responsibilities :
- Supervise property and / or debt investment accounting staff, ensuringaccuracy in financial statements and account reconciliations
- Oversee monthly property and / or debt investment and fund / accountclosing and consolidation process
- Analyze budget-to-actual results and prepare quarterly financialstatements and investor reports
- Manage investment management and incentive fee calculations
- Develop and mentor Performance Reporting Accounting staff
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience (7 preferred) in real estate or privateequity industry
- Experience with real estate funds / debt funds and fair value financialreporting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration required, accountingconcentration preferred
- CPA license and public accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to adapt to technologychanges
