Description
Responsibilities as Tutor :
- Tutor and mentor youth in subjects including but not limited to math, reading, writing, science, and history.
- Tutors are responsible for communicating with the tutor coordinators and lead tutors when they have concerns or absences.
- Tutors are also responsible for attending mandatory monthly tutor trainings to enhance their skill set.
- Tutors are responsible for tracking students’ progress on a weekly basis.
- Tutors will be assigned to other UM program opportunities as requested (Social Justice, Immersions, Retreats, etc.)
Responsibilities as Tutor + Driver :
- Drive tutors to the sites and from the sites back to USF.
- All the other aforementioned tutor responsibilities.
Tutoring Schedule for Spring 2024 :
Mondays : 2 : 30-4 : 30pm & 2 : 30-5 : 30pm
Tuesdays : 1 : 30-4 : 30pm
Wednesdays : 1 : 30-4 : 30pm & 2 : 30-5pm
Thursdays : 1 : 30-4 : 30pm & 2 : 30-4 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $18.07 / hour
