We are looking for an Account General Manager with high energy and creativity to work with an innovative and transformative client.
Your role in our mission
- Cultivate client relationships and be the voice of Gainwell as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
- Develop a client-centered innovation agenda to proactively engage with client on their business needs and goals.
- Harness Gainwell innovative spirit to meet and exceed contractual commitments.
- Grow the business through active listening, inquiry and pairing needs to Gainwell unique value.
- Lead, guide, mentor and grow the team.
- Manage the financial quality of the account.
- Coordinates with the SysOps vendor regarding shared service responsibilities and escalation of system issues impacting the ability to deliver business services within the contract requirements / SLAs.
- Acts as the primary point of contact (POC) with the State for all activities related to contract administration, including being able to legally bind the Services Vendor with any state agreements The Account Manager provides oversight and management for account leadership and delivery of services for this contract The Account Manager is the single point of contact and has accountability for this contract and is supported by the full resources of our company.
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 5 years experience working with Medicaid / Medicare operations, systems, regulations / standards, as well as cost reporting, profit and loss, and budget compliance.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in managing or in a key management position for a Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) or other large-scale medical claims processing system;
and previous experience with an MMIS, or with major components of an operational MMIS.
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration / Management, Finance, a clinical specialty or equivalent with preference of a Masters degree in one of these fields
- 10-12 years experience in account leadership roles such as sales, delivery or business management.
- A minimum of ten (10) years experience managing a large-scale government or private sector healthcare contract valued at twenty (20) million dollars or more.
- Knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare regulations / standards, as well as cost reporting, profit and loss, and budget compliance.
- Experience working in a matrixed environment.
- P & L, sales and risk management skills required.

- Meets or exceeds financial commitments.

The pay range for this position is $138,200.00 - $197,400.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
