Material Bank is seeking a Senior Magento Engineer to join our award-winning Engineering team. When it comes to the nuts and bolts of what we have to offer, it’s simple.

This position is open to candidates in New York, Boston, or Miami Metropolitan Areas.

What you'll Do :

• Engineer efficient, adaptable, and scalable architecture for all stages of data lifecycle in support of a variety of data applications.
• Develop abstractions and re-usable developer tooling to allow other engineers to quickly deliver streaming / batch self-service pipelines.
• Create, deploy, maintain, and automate large global deployments in AWS.
• Troubleshoot production issues and come up with solutions as needed.
• Actively review code, mentor, and provide peer feedback.
• Active participation in team ceremonies such as daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

What you'll bring :

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as a Senior or Lead Magento software developer in an eCommerce environment.
• 6+ years of experience as a Magento developer.
• Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong object-oriented programming knowledge primarily PHP 7.x.
