Position Title : Trim Carpenter / Trim Carpenter Apprentice
Salary : $20 to $35 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week
Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trim Carpenter or Trim Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This role involves working on interior finish carpentry, installing and repairing trim, molding, baseboards, and other wood features.
The ideal candidate should have experience with carpentry tools, basic knowledge of woodwork, and attention to detail.
Note : All work will be performed at heights no greater than 6 feet.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, repair, and finish trim, molding, and baseboards
- Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately to fit in designated spaces
- Collaborate with other carpenters, contractors, and construction teams
- Ensure all work complies with quality standards and safety regulations
- Maintain and care for tools and equipment
- Read blueprints or technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Requirements :
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Proof of U.S. citizenship required
- Must pass a drug test
- Experience in finish carpentry is preferred, but apprentices with a strong desire to learn are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must adhere to all safety protocols
Work Conditions :
- Indoor work in various environments, including residential and commercial sites
- Limited to working no higher than 6 feet off the ground
- Some lifting and manual labor required
