The CIT Networking program at CSN provides instruction in network routing-switching, Microsoft client-server, Linux, and virtualization technologies.
At this time we are seeking a part time instructor to teach introductory computer networking courses to include Comptia Network+ and Cisco networking academy classes.
We are particularly interested in candidates that can teach entry-level networking courses. This individual will be primarily responsible for teaching courses in subject matter pertaining to information technology infrastructure.
Teaching includes, but is not limited to, the following :
Teaching assignments will primarily be courses that prepare students for certification in Comptia Network+ and Cisco CCENT / CCNA.
Teaching assignments may also include entry-level courses in computers, cybersecurity, and networking.
Assigned courses, days, times and / or locations may vary from semester to semester.
Assignments may be any combination of classroom and online modes.
Assignments may be located on any combination of CSN's several campuses.
Assignments may be any combination of any days of the week including weekends.
Assignments may be any combination of courses for which instructor is qualified.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
1 year experience teaching technical courses
1 year experience providing technical support OR 1 year full-time active duty military in a network-related MOS
Preferred Qualifications
Major, minor, or advanced degree from a regionally accredited college or university with technical emphasis such as IT, IS, CS, EE, etc.
Bachelor’s or Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Experience working with a diverse / multicultural student body and / or workforce.
Certifications, current or passed with the past five years in Comptia Network+, Cisco CCENT or CCNA, Quality Matters APPQMR certification.
Experience using the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS).

$925.00 Per Instructional Unit / Credit
