Landing Gear
Bring your experience and ideas and help us bring the highest quality products and service to our customers. This role will be an integral part of the landing gear manufacturing team.
You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities through fabricating carbide shoes by a patented brazing process of applying carbide inserts to a substrate material.
What you’ll be doing as a Skid Shoe Fabricator
- Fabricate parts with close supervision using required tools and fixtures
- Perform patented brazing process of applying carbide inserts to a substrate material
- Use handheld torch
- Demonstrate safe work habits and always wear proper PPE
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
- Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
- Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
- Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.
Qualifications

- We are looking for inquisitive and driven fabricators with a passion for manufacturing.
- Ability to use basic hand tools safety and appropriately.
- Read and understand work instructions and drawings.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and manufacturing drawings with assistance.
What you need to be successful
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of experience relevant to job duties.
