Responsibilities
Develop and provide swim instruction programs for various populations.
- Develop swim instruction programs for various patient populations.
- Instruct individuals or groups in swimming and aquatic activities.
- Monitor pool area for safety violations and persons in distress and responds appropriately.
- Assist therapists and fitness staff as needed with patient transfers, stabilization and assistance in and out of the pools.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Lifegaurd obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Any issuing authority accepted.
Education :
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree / Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
