About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2150 To $2389 Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Labor and Delivery Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : 5 years required in high acuity & high pace environment, a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Will not accept first-time travelers. License : Please indicate the license status : Active, In Process, or No license on your profile.
If "In process," please provide the applied date and estimated issue date. Certifications : Must-Have : - Candidates must circulate and provide newborn care, including eyes and Vitamin K injections, thighs, and newborn assessments.
High-risk experience and ability to work in fast-paced, high acuity environments. - Experience in circulating and functioning in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and care of the newborn until transfer to postpartum.
Job Description : - Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines for High Risk / High Volume Labor & Delivery.- Work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
- Float to postpartum / antepartum as needed and may float to sister facilities that support Mom / Baby.- Experience with midwifery clients, private OBs, adult recovery services for substance recovery, and community care clinics.
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring.- Able to handle Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate. - References required covering one year of employment within the last three years.
- Floating required within the scope of practice if needed, with facilities within a 40-mile radius or less. - Orientation : 40 hours non-billable.
COVID-19 Vaccine : Required, with medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed. Flu Vaccine : Unknown. References : Extremely important to have on file prior to submittal, must cover one year of employment within the last three years.
Note : Floating may result in a requirement for finding personal transportation, and refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
