The ideal candidate :
- 5 years minimum experience in grading and drainage, cut and fill balancing, site development
- Able to create site cross sections, drainage schemes
- Work with the engineering staff in the preparation of site, grading, drainage and other civil related design documents
- Create permit drawings for submittal to various governmental agencies.
- Take engineering sketches to full development of plans, sections and details as required for the completion of construction documents.
- Able to produce civil plans, sections and details with little guidance.
- The ability to work some concrete and steel design in addition to Civil 3D experience is considered a plus.
- Surveying experience would be a plus but not required.
- Experience in the development of Civil3D models and drawings is a must
The candidate will participate on a design team on a variety of various projects. The candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks :
- Work and communicate side by side with the engineers responsible for civil, drainage and site design
- Create full sets of construction documents
- Coordinate construction drawings with other disciplines for compliance, alignment and correctness
