Sales Finance Manager

Job Overview :
The Sales Finance Manager will play a critical role in supporting and partnering with the commercial sales team, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
The role is responsible for extraction and manipulation of complex sales data and managing the financial reporting and forecasting process, as well as providing insights to drive sales growth and profitability.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting & Analysis :
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the sales team.
- Analyze sales performance, identify key drivers, and provide insights to improve business performance.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales growth, margin analysis, and profitability.
- Sales Forecasting & Budgeting :
- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for the sales division.
- Work closely with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
- Commercial Support :
- Provide financial modeling, deal analysis, and pricing strategies for large sales contracts, including GPO agreements.
- Support contract negotiations by providing financial insights and risk assessments.
- Strategic Partnering :
- Partner with sales leadership to provide strategic financial advice and support growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations) to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
- Process Improvement :
- Identify and implement improvements to financial systems and processes that streamline reporting and enhance forecasting accuracy.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years supporting a commercial sales organization.
- Previous experience in healthcare, pharma, or medical device industries, with GPO and IDN exposure.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
