Patient Services Specialist - 100% Onsite.
Under the direction of the PAS supervisor / manager, the Patient Services Specialist is responsible for assisting patients during the on-site registration and arrival process for scheduled and unscheduled visits as well as completing financial clearance functions.
This individual completes the registration for unscheduled visits by collecting accurate demographic information, insurance information, and collecting patient liability (if known) at the time of service.

Preferred Qualifications :
- Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
- 3 years experience within Patient Access of Business office setting. Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
- 3 years utilization of medical terminology in job setting. Knowledge in medical billing codes.
- 1 year knowledge of Epic Applications.
