LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Modeling and Simulation Software Developer in Colorado Springs, CO or Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities
- Maintaining National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) System Program Office (SPO) Modeling and Simulation Baseline
- Development and maintenance of new software tools and computer software documentation
- Ensuring executability and interoperability of models, simulations, and software tools needed to perform studies and analyses for the SPO
- Designing and editing satellite models and simulations to inform analyses and trade studies related to on-orbit operational scenarios
- Simulating Space Domain Awareness (SDA) data of space objects that represent the sensor system’s spatial, spectral, and other capabilities under representative conditions
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering or science discipline
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the field of computer modeling
- Active TS / SCI with CI Polygraph required. US Citizenship required
Desired
- Graduate degree in an engineering or science discipline
- Experience in developing system models using industry standard tools such as MATLAB, IDL, Satellite Tool Kit, and other software
- Experience in agile software development and test including use of Jira, Confluence, and Git
- NRO experience
Target salary range : $102,000 - $180,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and / or certifications.
