As a Deployment Consultant supporting Fidelity’s Workplace Investing (WI) business, you will facilitate the operational readiness and go to market process related to product enhancements and new capabilities.
In an agile format and structure, you will partner with leaders across the organization to establish deployment standards, bring the latest thinking to your role, and empower others with that knowledge!
The nature of the work will vary, spanning regulatory efforts, client commitments, organizational initiatives, and product launches.
You will be accountable for creating and delivering deployment strategies to identify / plan for operational impacts related to a product release.
To be successful in this role, you should be curious, love to take on problems, be willing to understand the needs of clients, internal associates, and have dedication for delivering optimal solutions.

Create and deliver deployment strategies for product releases
Have a strong understanding of deployment and business readiness activities
Efficient project management skills to handle dependencies across teams, and provide constructive feedback for future process improvements
Proven leadership by mentoring peers and showcase critical thinking by managing conflicts within teams
You take initiative to communicate issues with partners and resolve issues in a timely manner
Strong communication skills, including the ability to work across functional boundaries, interact, influence, and work effectively with various levels of management and stakeholders
Skills to proactively inspire change, conduct planning sessions with team members, and lead the delivery of solutions
Support client needs and ensure that they feel prepared to launch new product features or changes
Continuous improvement in developing new products / features by incorporating an Agile way of working, a culture of learning, thoughtful risk taking and data driven, timely decision making
Proactively partner with technology delivery teams, business partners, and other center of excellence leaders to influence the approach of deploying solutions to our clients and business partners
Actively share relevant insights, knowledge, industry standard methodologies and developments within your area
BS / BA degree, MBA a plus
5+ years of proven experience leading projects
The Team
WI Customer Solutions chapter is a collaborative, and fast-paced team where Deployment Program Managers partner with business and technology leaders to construct strategic programs that improve the impact on Fidelity’s vitality.
The chapter works closely as cross-functional, multi-disciplinary, and dedicated team responsible for delivering on specific business goals aligned to the Workplace Investing Product Roadmap.
