Manufacturing Intern
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at our North Charleston, SC facility. This person would support the engineering team, which supports our 150,000 SQFT facility.
Job Duties
- Tools / fixtures drawing updates
- Design of improvement tools / modification of existing drawings
- Update of the work instructions, preventive maintenance check sheet, 5S documents
- Process data collection from the assembly line
- Process capability study for tightening torques and leak values
- Working with the team to implement process improvements in the assembly lines
- Time study for the manual work content
Qualifications
- Must be pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week for a minimum of 6-9 months
