As the Marketing Director, you will have the exciting opportunity to oversee the marketing efforts for our diverse entertainment properties.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our strategic marketing plans, driving revenue growth, and ensuring our entertainment properties remain top-of-mind with our audiences.
You have a strong track record of strategic thinking, analytical and leadership skills, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Implementation and execution of strategic marketing plans and programs to achieve gross revenue projections.
- Strategically plan and execute marketing campaigns to include Pricing, Media, Creative, Promotions, Group Sales, Sponsorship, Direct Marketing, Guerilla Marketing, Research and Market Analysis.
- Report ticket sales revenue and attendance figures to partners and investors on an ongoing basis.
- Prepare marketing / media budgets based on P&L and project evaluation.
- Manage and monitor marketing budgets and invoicing.
- Prepare revenue forecasts and projections for future projects.
- Oversee and coach three team members - fostering their professional growth.
- Manage day-to-day operations of advertising creative, media, PR and group sales agencies. Communicates with outside agencies to ensure quality and workflow.
- Provide additional support on other marketing department initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum BA / BS in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related discipline 7+ years of relevant marketing experience
- Strong knowledge of the New York marketplace and live entertainment business.
- Creative and resourceful with excellent negotiation and communications skills.
- Proven expertise in advertising and media principles, strategies and implementation Comprehensive knowledge of tri-state area media
- Comprehensive knowledge of NYC live ticketing-, tourist attraction- and entertainment industries
- Comprehensive experience in budgeting and cost estimating
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal, creative and analytical skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
