SUMMARY

The Batching Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the batching operations within the organization.

This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of a team of batching operators, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Reporting to the R&D Manager, the Coordinator facilitates seamless production processes by collaborating with various departments and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Coordinate the daily activities of batching operators, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the accurate measurement and mixing of ingredients according to product specifications, optimizing batching and pre-weigh times.
• Ensure compliance with recipes, formulas, and quality control standards, conducting regular inspections and quality checks in collaboration with the Quality Control Department.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for equipment inspections and repairs, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of batching equipment.
• Collaborate with production planning to develop and implement batching schedules, optimizing production efficiency and coordinating with other departments.
• Support Commercialization and new product development efforts, working closely with customers on quality and batch-making requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of batching activities, generate production reports, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce quality SOPs for batching procedures, equipment usage, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Foster open communication within the team and across departments, reporting issues, concerns, and suggestions to upper management.

Requirements : Skills / Knowledge :

Skills / Knowledge :

Experience in batching operations or a related manufacturing environment, demonstrating a strong understanding of quality control measures and regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Computer Skills :

Proficiency in ERP software and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and internal software programs).

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered, particularly if the candidate has substantial hands-on experience in batching operations or related manufacturing environments.
