Our client is seeking a motivated Project Manager to manage and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, be highly organized, and have a keen eye for detail.
Previous experience in construction project management is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee project scheduling and ensure all milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and budgetary guidelines.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, permits, and contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project status.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Make informed decisions to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Allocate resources efficiently to optimize project outcomes.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a project manager in the construction industry.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
