Team Leader - Project Manager

Summary : Responsible for leading an ASW Mission Team to achieve its keyperformance indicators (KPIs) and successful mission execution forthe assignedteam(s).

DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES :

  • TeamLeader
  • Understandsthe team KPIs and keeps the KPI scorecard up todate.
  • Holdsteam accountable and helps team reach or exceed the KPItargets.
  • Project Planning andExecution :
  • Leadthe planning scheduling and execution of audiovisual projects frominitiation tocompletion.
  • Confirmand execute the project scope objectives and deliverables incollaboration withstakeholders.
  • ResourceManagement :
  • Allocateresources effectively including personnel equipment and materialsto meet projectrequirements.
  • Coordinatewith the Mission Support Team vendors and subcontractors to ensuretimely delivery of components andservices.
  • ClientEngagement :
  • Serveas the primary point of contact for clients during the missionaddressing inquiries providing updates and managingexpectations.
  • Provideclients with weekly status reports of theirmissions.
  • Budgetand ScheduleManagement :
  • Maintainaccurate status and dates within ASW project managementtools.
  • Maintainaccurate records and status of mission budgets and actualexpenditures in labor equipment andmaterials.
  • Maintainproject schedules identify potential risks and implement mitigationstrategies to avoiddelays.
  • QualityAssurance :
  • Conductquality assurance checks and system testing to ensure thefunctionality reliability and performance of AVinstallations.
  • Ensurecompliance with industry standards and building codes throughoutthe projectlifecycle.
  • Addressany issues or deficiencies promptly coordinating with the team toimplement correctiveactions.
  • Maintainan NPS score of 85 orbetter.
  • DocumentationandReporting :
  • Maintainaccurate project documentation including project plansspecifications change orders and completionreports.
  • Generateweekly progress reports and status updates for internalstakeholders andclients.
  • Performsall other duties asassigned.

Requirements

Education and / or Experience High School Diploma (or GED or HighSchool Equivalence Certificate). Previous experience in or 2year or4year degree in a related field preferred but not necessary.

Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in AVcommercial construction or a related field. Avixa CTS certificationpreferred.

LanguageSkills Ability to read analyze and interpret common accounting andtechnical journals financial reports and legal documents.

Abilityto respond to common inquiries or complaints from customersregulatory agencies. Ability to effectively present information tomanagement public groups and / or board of directors.

Ability tointeract clearly and effectively in both written and oralcommunication with supervisor clients staff vendors etc. Spanishfluency is a plus.

Mathematical Skills Ability to perform basic mathematical skillsincluding but not limited to addition subtraction multiplicationand division.

Applies general concepts such as fractionspercentages ratios and proportions to practical situations and toensure balances are correct.

Understanding of accounting conceptsincluding transaction categorization and ability to comprehend andexplain financialstatements.

ComputerSkills To perform this job successfully an individual should beproficient in personal computer skills including electronic mailrecord keeping routine database activity word processingspreadsheet graphics etc.

This role requires an aboveaverageknowledge of MicrosoftOffice.

OtherQualifications Valid driver s license required. Must be able topass a background check. Previous experience in or knowledge of thefollowing : IP networking knowledge;

AV system troubleshootingskills.

PHYSICALDEMANDS :

Whileperforming the duties of this job the individual must be able toremain in a stationary position for 90 percent of the time whileoperating their computer and performing office work.

The individualneeds to occasionally move about inside the office. They constantlyoperate a computer and other office productivity machinery such asa calculator copy machine fax machine scanner and printer.

Theymust be able to exchange accurate information with customers andothers in the office while interacting. The individual mustregularly lift and / or move up to 15 pounds occasionally liftand / or move up to 25 pounds.

The individual must be capable ofreviewing their work for errors and make necessaryadjustments.

WORKENVIRONMENT :

Whileperforming the duties of this Job the individual is occasionallyexposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the workenvironment is usually low to moderate but can be very loud duringsystem testing.

The individual frequently works in a controlledclimate.

Occasional travel andovertime hours may be required.
