Associate Science Nursing (ASN) Clinical Adjunct Part Time
Applications will be reviewed on an as needed basis. We are currently seeking ASN clinical adjunct Instructors for our Clarkesville and Blairsville campuses.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervising and educating students at clinical sites using a variety of learning experiences and activities.
Instructional duties include facilitating clinical learning experiences, assisting with assessment and evaluation of students’ achievement of clinical learning outcomes, promoting a safe learning environment for a diverse student body in accordance with the established course syllabi, and utilizing a variety of teaching methods in instruction.
Other responsibilities include providing students with appropriate course materials (syllabus, calendar, policy statements or guidelines), utilizing technology to include a simulated electronic health record system, adhering to course competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction, and efficient maintenance of student records.
Instructor must be knowledgeable of institutional policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
BSN degree from a regionally accredited institution
Three (3) years' work experience as a nurse within the past five (5) years
Current Georgia Nursing License in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in an Associate degree nursing program.
Teaching experience in an accredited nursing program.
Experience using simulation equipment for nursing education.

Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies.
Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
