Job Summary
Clinical Dietitian : Responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention to residents / patients.
Ensures satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources.
Promotes a culture of wellness for residents / patients.
Supports accounts in the surrounding Saint Louis, MO market (included but not limited to : IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, OH, SD, WI with 25% or less out of this territory throughout the rest of the U.S.)
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population
- Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual
- Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies
- Trains and mentor’s patient services staff and interns as applicable
- Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance / Performance Improvement programs
Qaulifications
Qualifications :
- At least two (2) years of managerial experiences in a hospital or nursing care preferred.
- Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to prove care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Able to problem solve independently when warranted, demonstrates knowledge of medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and nursing care communities
- Must possess excellent customer service & hospitality skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
- Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).
- Must achieve Registered Dietitian
