LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable and Receivables Specialist to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel, and a proven track record of managing customer payments and resolving discrepancies.
This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities :
Generate and send out invoices to customers in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities. Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
Accurately record and reconcile customer payments, applying them to the appropriate accounts and invoices.
Contact customers to resolve payment discrepancies and facilitate timely payments while maintaining positive relationships.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Prepare and distribute regular accounts receivable aging reports, providing insights and analysis on outstanding balances and aging trends.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to billing and payments in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues promptly.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounts receivable processes and improve efficiency. Implement best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Receivables.
Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
