Maintenance Boiler Technician (ALEXANDRIA, MN)
Job Description : In this role you will be responsible for production and distribution of high-pressure steam for operation and facility needs.
In addition, mechanical / electrical repairs of production equipment as needed.

- Operating and troubleshooting Boiler equipment and recommending changes for continuous improvement.
- Assisting with meeting site energy reduction goals.
- Maintaining site water treatment equipment.
- Assist with Pressure vessel inspection program.
- Perform planned or emergency maintenance on production equipment
Your Skills and Expertise :
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications :
- Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
- Possess a Minnesota First Class A or First-Class B boilers license, Chief A or Chief B Engineer License
- Ability to work flexible hours based on business needs and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :
- Solid understanding of Utilities operations and systems
- Water chemistry knowledge
- Experience performing mechanical / electrical troubleshooting of production equipment.
- Experience with PLCs
