Leidos QTC Health Services CTO team is currently seeking experienced Software Operations Engineers in support of the company’s overall IT modernization and corporate growth goals.
The Software Operations Engineer will provide technical efforts ensuring the production level operations of enterprise software applications through upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting and support of applications associated with existing and new capabilities within the Leidos QTC Health Services capability portfolio.

This position is fully remote
Primary Responsibilities :
- Support and maintain complex Java-based, Linux hosted software systems
- Establishment of tools monitoring and regular observations of system health day-to-day
- Updates and execution of programmatic deployments via automation
- Creative problem solving of issues that arise in local and production environments
- Support CI / CD automation related to services, and promotion of application logic hosted by application tools
- Create adequate and understandable documentation for services
- Communicate effectively across product, development, operations, and application security teams
- Participate in the introduction of new capabilities and the enhancement or troubleshooting of existing capabilities
- Experience with : ETL Tools, integration engines, and other middleware / integration platforms.
- Experience with Splunk, REST API’s (JSON, XML), Ansible, and Containers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
- Ability to communicate with other technical departments in a cross-functional environment
Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline and + years of relevant experience (Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.
Desired :
- Experience with Apache NiFi, Zookeeper, Camunda, KeyCloak, Camunda, OAuth or token based authentication
- Experience with AWS, Okta, C, Scripting (Bash, Python), GIT Repos, Atlassian Suite, Zookeeper, Camunda, KeyCloak, Zeebe, Linux (RHEL or Debian / Ubuntu)
- Automated unit and integration testing ( Junit, Jasmine, Selenium)
- Working with Kanban or Agile methodologies
