Maintenance Technician (Instrumentation)

As a Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for conducting a variety of Maintenance activities (e.g., PM’s breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding, etc.

to optimize plant equipment and support the production of quality chemical intermediates, energies and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose problems and repair VFD’s, PLC’s, motors with associated controls, protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable, transmitter calibration controllers, switches and metrology.
• Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs as needed to facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation.

It includes transmitter flow devices, level controls, temperature measurement.

• Read and interpret Schematic Drawings, Wiring and Interconnection Diagrams, Loop Drawings, P&ID's, Process Flow Diagrams, Logic Diagrams, and ISA symbols.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks, which include but are not limited to, routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing
• Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions and discuss

You bring :

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and skill experience to diagnose problems and repair VFD’s, PLC’s, motors with associated controls, knowledge of protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable, transmitter calibration controllers, switches and metrology.
• Minimum of 4 years maintenance-related experience required.
• Must be available to work weekends, overtime (including coverage and standby), and holidays as required.
• Must be able to function / cross train in primary craft.
