Job Summary
FORTNA is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of FORTNA Infor LN CE implementations and other IT projects.
To successfully deliver these projects, the candidate must collaborate closely with ERP and other stakeholders, including the executive team, department leaders, functional SME’s, global process owners, and IT to successfully deliver Infor LN CE ERP solutions to the business and its employees.
This includes project delivery within budget, on schedule and fulfillment of all project requirements and specifications.
This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, GA, or Mt. Washington, KY. It is not a remote position and requires the candidate to be on site at least three days a week and be available for travel on a regular basis.
Responsibilities and Duties :
Project Planning and Management
- Create and manage overall, single project plan for project scope, schedule, and resource requirements.
- Establish and lead project teams, with defined roles and responsibilities for each project team member.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Monitor and record progress, regularly reporting on project progress.
- Conduct project postmortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Communication & Change Management
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels for effective communication.
- Develop and execute a communication plan and content, including regular project updates and stakeholder engagement.
- Work with the change management team to ensure successful rollout and sustained acceptance of Infor LN CE.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Cost Management :
- Track project cost against project budget.
- Develop contingency plans to manage spend variances from budget effectively.
Risk Management :
Work with the project team to Identify risks in the project risk register and develop contingency plans to mitigate identified risks.
Resource Management :
- Manage project resources, including project team members, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
- Ensure the project team is appropriately staffed, trained, and motivated to achieve project objectives.
- Coach, mentor, and supervise project team members and 3rd party contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Determine and assess need for additional staff and / or 3rd party contractors and make the appropriate recruitments, if necessary, during project cycle.

Vendor Management
Manage the relationship and monitor performance of external suppliers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, business administration, information systems, project management.
- Proven experience (5-7) years of project management of successful ERP implementation projects for multiple locations.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (5 years), preferably Infor LN.
- Excellent command of end-to-end business processes in a manufacturing and project execution business.
- Practitioner of best practices in all project management related domains, including change, communication, risk, financial management and reporting.
- B2 / C English language knowledge spoken and written.
- Expert collaborator, showcasing excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with the project team and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills, coaching, inspiring, and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, having the capability to prioritize, find options, address issues, and implement the best solution.
- Ability to navigate a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail and execution quality.
- Ability to work under pressure while faced with problems and tight deadlines.
- Regular travel to FORTNA locations required depending on project phase, scope, and regional focus
The base salary range for this role is$85,000to $127,450. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position.
Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
