POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager with 4-6 years of experience in managing design, user experience (UX), content, and development teams.
This role will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing projects that align with business objectives, managing internal and external teams, and ensuring the timely and on-budget delivery of stakeholder project requests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
General Responsibilities
- Project Management : Lead the end-to-end project management process, including intake of new project requests, determining project priority, and developing timelines for deliverables.
- Team Leadership : Manage project related functions of a cross-functional internal team of 7-9 members, including designers, UX professionals, and content specialists, while also coordinating with external agency teams and in-house IT.
- Stakeholder Management : Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders across product verticals including Ikon Pass, Resort CMS, Alterra Mountain Company, and Mountain Powder.
Regularly communicate project updates, manage expectations, and gather feedback.
- Budget and Timeline Oversight : Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget. Monitor project milestones and adjust resources as needed to meet deadlines.
- Tool and Process Mastery : Utilize tools like Coda and Jira to track project progress, manage tasks, and facilitate communication between teams.
Use a working knowledge of Figma and design systems to support design processes.
- Risk Management : Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Escalate issues to senior leadership when necessary.
- Collaboration : Foster collaboration between various teams to ensure cohesive project delivery. Ensure that all team members are aligned on goals, deliverables, and deadlines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience : 4-6 years of experience managing digital projects, including design, UX, content, and development teams.
- Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in Coda (or similar) and Jira; working knowledge of Figma and design systems.
- Project Management Expertise : Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Stakeholder Management : Ability to manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
- Leadership : Experience managing both internal and external teams.
- Organizational Skills : Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build and maintain effective relationships with internal team members and other stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to solve complex problems and develop solutions and communicate across all levels of the organization effectively.
- Professional / lived experience proactively marketing, communicating, and driving sales in a culturally competent manner to a diverse range of audiences and new / emerging markets, including to underrepresented communities
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
College degree in computer science, marketing, or psychology preferred
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position.
Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and / or necessary travel.
The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range : $80,000 to $112,000 per year
