Sterling Search Partners is helping a growing Madison client with its search for an Administrative Assistant. This position is on-site Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.

We are looking for someone who can run an office and has a great personality.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to operations and service teams
  • Generating invoices, customer follow up & accounts receivable
  • Maintaining required business licenses (new & renewals)
  • Purchasing and maintaining office supplies
  • Organizing and scheduling meetings, training classes and other company events
  • Assisting other departments and team members with miscellaneous tasks
  • Spreadsheet development, monitoring, and tracking
  • Creating, scheduling, tracking and invoicing service tickets and service department projects
  • General office organizing
  • Warehouse organization, shipping and receiving
  • Other items as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative role preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with sales reporting, data entry, communication and customer service preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to relate and communicate with customers and sales teams
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office Excel, Smartsheet, MailChimp)
  • Customer service minded skillset
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and scenarios
  • Demonstrates a team-focused mentality and collaborates well with other employees
