Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a long-term substitute position near High Point, North Carolina!In this role, you will work with students assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders to help them develop essential communication skills.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and evaluate speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide therapy services to students individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to support therapy goals.
- Monitor and adjust therapy based on student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications :
- M.A. / M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current North Carolina State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Creative planning and organizational skills.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy practices.
- Experience with elementary caseload preferred.
