The night crew chief is an important position within the store. Many customers make their decisions to shop at our store because of the quality and variety of our departments and specifically the many grocery items that we make available to them.
This position is responsible for creating a well stocked and faced-up grocery department. This position is responsible for getting the product on the shelves for our customers to purchase.
Our customers trust the safety of the products we sell. We must do everything to give them the right price and the right items when they want it.
The night crew chief can make the difference by the way he or she does their job. We need to treat each individual like a guest in our home with courtesy, friendliness and the respect that they deserve.
Position Requirements
Supermarket specific department experience; thoroughly knowledgeable of the products, tools, and operations of the night crew.
Strong supervisory and project management skills. Competent knowledge of the basic mathematics of the supermarket business.
Able to read and understand the English language with proficiency. Able to meet the standards of Safety, Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency of the store.
Willing to support the basic values, philosophy, rules, and policies of the company in each of the activities within his or her responsibilities.
Must be able to Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds; Climb a ladder to retrieve product; Sweep and mop floors and maintain all other cleanliness standards.
Have sufficient physical mobility to respond to fire and other safety emergencies. Must be able to work in cold and wet environments.
Tolerate moderate amounts of dust during routine housekeeping duties. Able to work weekends and at night. Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity, and drug free.
Ability to stand for four consecutive hours, without restrictions. Good team player; able to work with fellow associates to achieve goals. Drug Free workplace
