Job Requirements
- Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs
- Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
- Obtaining patient vital signs and escorting patients to their rooms
- Administering injections of medications
- Verifying that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately
- Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
Qualifications and skills required include :
- Possession of a valid state license for LPN
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Ability to stand and work for long periods
- Good interpersonal skills with an emphatic and compassionate approach
- Comfortable in working with a flexible schedule
- Basic computer knowledge
- Sound judgment, professional knowledge and understanding, and display a positive, cooperative resident-first attitude at all times
