Job Requirements
- Must be AHA.
- Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs but you will still upload here.
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
Nursys quick confirm verifications should be completed for all APRN, RNs and LPN / LVNs. Nursys should be used to review ALL license activity in all states, not just the state of placement.
Copy of the physical license is not required. Nursing only Michigan hospitals need their licensure verified through LARA not NURSYs.
The candidate or associate should provide documented proof of two Varicella vaccines, serological evidence of immunity, or verification of a history of varicella or herpes zoster (shingles) by a healthcare provider.
If a candidate or associate cannot provide evidence of immunity, titers are required to check serological evidence for Varicella.
If titer results do not show proof of immunity, administer two doses of Varicella vaccine, four weeks apart. Exemptions are NOT accepted for some areas.
- Education needs to be validated at the source level in accordance with applicable governing laws. Inaccurate information and / or unexplained gaps must be reviewed by the Third Party.
- You may upload your standard COA, Ascension does not require their specific form.
