CT Technologist- Houston, TX - Nights
Offering a sign-on bonus of $5,000
Schedule :
Wed-Sat 9 pm-7 am or 4 pm-430am rotating days
Minimum Qualifications
Education :
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Licenses / Certifications / Experience :
Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required
A current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), is required.
Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT), required
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist is required.
Responsibilities :
Performs CT scans on patients : Prepares patients for CT scan, explains the procedure, administers contrast when necessary, positions patients for the CT scan, selects appropriate imaging techniques and ensures technical quality of the scan
Enters and monitors patient data
Performs quality assurance on CT equipment. May assist with initial applications for ACR and other accreditation.
Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunction to department management.
Other duties as assigned.
