MDU Coordinator (Lifecycle Vendor Manager)
Overall Purpose : Oversees the coordination of all operational activities related to MDU construction projects. Responsible for managing Lifecycle Vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and streamlining processes.
This role will oversee supplier relationships, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and play a critical role in optimizing operations and driving results.
Daily site visits are required, and candidate must reside in assigned market.
Roles & Responsibilities :
149; Responsible for the overall deployment of fiber optic networks in the MDU residential environment
149; Oversee, track, and report on the progress and quality of work being performed by construction contractors.
149; Oversee and implement Quality Assurance procedures for independent contractors and insourced personnel to ensure the accuracy and quality of a project launch.
149; Establish profitability goals and strategies
149; Execute implementation plans for MDU construction projects
149; Act as a liaison with customers and inspections to ensure project requirements and timelines are met
149; Oversee and implement Quality Assurance procedures for independent contractors and insourced personnel to ensure the accuracy and quality of a project launch.
149; Order, track, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of new construction jobs Coordinate / manage locate companies, DOT and power companies as needed to achieve objectives
149; Perform other duties as required and assigned by management Skills &Requirements :
149; 5+ years of relevant experience required to include experience with fiber optic networks and OSP / ISP construction
149; Previous experience in MDU project coordination or related field Ability to appropriately prioritize and manage multiple requests at once and consistently meet deadlines
149; Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
149; Familiarity with construction processes and technical aspects of MDU projects
149; Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
149; Must be highly independent, self-starter, self-motivated Ability to work in dynamic and constantly changing environments
149; Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal partners
149; Must have strong attention to detail and highly organized
149; Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
149; Must have confidence to make and support recommendation
