The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Vice President, Production Services Application Support II in Pittsburgh, PA, to maintain and support moderately complex applications and operating environments.
Perform troubleshooting as a subject matter expert in one or more applications. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field , and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation.
- Eight (8) years of experience must include : Utilizing Eagle Accounting Systems, which includes troubleshooting the Eagle PACE / STAR suite of products;
- Utilizing design configuration parameter, including Concurrent Matrix, PACE thread limit, Processing engine limit ration, bind parameter, and engine configuration, to achieve optimal processing;
- Using NAV processing workflows, including NAV tolerance reconciliation, to analyze the NAV movement and then disseminate to Fed;
- Using Linux and windows server operating systems to support file load mechanisms, review configurations, and execute administration type functions including restarting service;
- Utilizing database tools Oracle and SQL Server to create Database monitoring mechanisms to reduce operational risks; Utilizing Application and Infrastructure monitoring tools Splunk, Grafana, Moogsoft and Kibana to monitor the state of servers and services;
and Providing support, maintain existing functionalities, and on-board new functionalities for performance monitoring application.
The employer will accept three years of university-level studies plus two years of experience in meeting the Bachelor's degree requirement.
