Job Title : Warehouse Technician

Job Description

Efficiently and safely handle materials, ensure accurate inventory control, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with a diverse team of experts on cutting-edge solutions that drive sustainability, optimize operations, and adhere to stringent safety standards.

Follow written work instructions for accurate and safe task execution. Utilize all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and promptly escalate potential safety or quality concerns.

Perform accurate quality control checks on incoming materials, ensuring high standards of product integrity. Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or other designated locations.

Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences. Unload materials, verify paperwork and packing slips, note discrepancies, and distribute items to designated recipients.

Assemble paperwork received from customer service representatives and place orders on pallets or designated locations. Mark materials with identifying information and ensure secure and efficient shipping.

Use computers for inter-company correspondence, download temperature recorder data, and verify temperature control within customer specifications.

Operate forklifts, trucks, pallet jacks, and other designated equipment to move, put away, or retrieve specified materials, following safety rules and regulations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the service center. Report any items or individuals that appear out of order to management.

Additional tasks and duties may be assigned to support efficient warehouse and logistics operations, including availability during holidays or outside of regular shifts.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 640 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Work Environment

Warehouse environment with shifts available : M - F 1 : 00 pm - 10 : 30 pm, Front Half Swing : Sunday - Tuesday 10 am - 10 pm + Wednesday 10 am - 4 : 30 pm.

The warehouse is very organized and clean with about 5 forklifts moving around at the same time. It is a very busy work area with many deadlines and a lot of products to move.

Must be aware of surroundings as forklifts drive by.
