Reporting directly to the SVP of IT, this role leads a team of data professionals whose goals are to ensure the right data is in the right format, in the right place at the right time.
This role will have primarily oversight over the team's daily duties, which include; data analysis, data transformation, data standards, as well as internal reports and data visualizations.
Additionally, you will serve as an advisor and implementation coordinator as we work together to evolve the methods we use to turn data into meaningful and easily understood information.

As Data Services Manager at Community First Credit Union, you will :
- Collaborate with staff, both internal and external to the department, to provide data support and improvements that benefits either staff or Credit Union members directly.
- Identify, recommend and maintain tools or platforms needed to support both qualitative and quantitative data research and analytics
- Focus on the driving the automation of production reporting to drive a consistent high quality and efficient process, allowing CFCU to focus on innovation driven by data insights
- Establish best practices, in partnership with other technologies / business teams, in areas of data acquisition, integrity, mining and reporting
- Lead team of data and analytical professionals responsible for consulting with business leaders to develop strategic insights, analysis and reports
- Organize and secure prompt response to internal and external business and technology partners on area of responsibility
- Deep understanding of data architecture, warehousing, transforming, modeling and reporting technologies, standards and processes.
- Knowledge of tools, technologies, and processes used to store, process, transform and turn data into useful information through reporting and visualizations.
- Identify, recommend, and maintain the appropriate tools or platforms needed to support both qualitative and quantitative data research and analytics.
An ideal candidate will have a combination of :
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 5+ years working experience with proven effectiveness and deep technical of core banking system data and / or reporting
- Proven ability to develop, improve and document repeatable processes and procedures
- Deep understanding of foundational, new and emerging reporting technologies, systems and resources in the industry which includes SQL Reporting Services, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Transformation and Big Data Solutions
- Strong analytical and organizations skills
- Certifications such as MCSE- Data Management and Analytics or Certified Analytics Professional preferred
