We are seeking a Civil Engineer I or II (PE) to join the Mainstay Engineering Team.

Role Summary : Civil Engineer I or II (PE Licensed)
As a Civil Engineer (PE Licensed) you will be responsible for leading day to day work on various projects, ensuring proper site design, compliance with regulations, interdisciplinary coordination, and timely completion within budget constraints.
You will work alongside engineers and cross functional professionals, coordinating their efforts to deliver high-quality results, within budget and on time for our clients.
1. Design and Planning
- Develop and design sites as required by clients
- Create detailed blueprints, specifications, and cost estimates using software like AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
2. Project Leadership
- Participate as project lead or partner from inception through completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Ensure that projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and adhere to quality standards.
3. Permitting and Regulations
- Prepare and submit permit applications for regulatory approval.
- Ensure all projects comply with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
- Work with governmental agencies to secure project permits and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
4. Site Analysis and Problem Solving
- Conduct complex analysis to evaluate the stability, strength, and performance of ?structures?
- Identify potential risks and develop solutions to problems such as structural deficiencies or environmental impact.
5. Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Proactively communicate with relevant parties to discuss project requirements, progress, and outcomes.
- As requested, present reports, proposals, and plans to stakeholders, including clients, local authorities, and contractors.
- Ensure client satisfaction and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare detailed reports, technical specifications, and other documents required for project implementation.
- Maintain accurate project records, including budgets, schedules, and inspection reports.
7. Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Supervise junior design engineers
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.
