Job Title : Warehouse Worker
Job Description
Support the stores from the distribution center by picking and pulling orders and keeping track of inventory. Ensure timely and accurate shipping of merchandise to customers.
Responsibilities
- Receive, scan, pick, pack, audit, and ship merchandise to customers.
- Track all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.
- Verify orders and ensure entry into the inventory management system.
- Operate a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all areas of the warehouse are well-maintained, orderly, and free of debris.
- Maintain quality standards set forth by warehouse management.
- Load trailers with filled bins using a conveyor system, with bins weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Lift full cases of products and load them for shipment, requiring repetitive lifting.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
- Experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning.
- Experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
Why Work Here?
This is a temp-to-perm position, offering a good chance for long-term employment. Candidates will eventually transition to an 8-hour, 5-day workweek schedule, providing stability and consistency.
Work Environment
Warehouse environment with no air conditioning. Shifts include 8 pm - 4 : 30 am from Sunday to Thursday. Specific departments have varying schedules, such as the split cases team working from 6 : 30 pm - 4 : 30 am, Monday to Thursday, which will switch to Tuesday to Friday in May.
