Position Overview :
The salary range for this position is $177,036-$215,715 (Assistant), $201,378 - $238,517 (Associate), $227,916- $293,035 (Full).
This position includes membership in the University of California policies. The VA salary range (to be negotiated directly with VA) for this position is : $100,000-$250,000.
The Department of Internal Medicine at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting for a full-time (50% UC Davis and 50% VA Mather) faculty member in the Health Sciences Clinical (HSCP) series or Clinical X series at the Assistant / Associate / Full Professor rank in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
Faculty in the Clinical X series are expected to engage in professional competence and activity, teaching, research and creative work, and University / public service.
Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are expected to engage in teaching, professional competence and activity, scholarly or creative activities, and University / public service.
The duties for this position will be split 50 / 50 between UC Davis Health and the Sacramento VA.
Responsibilities :
- Inpatient consultation and outpatient clinical care.
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- University / public service.
- Regular attendance and participation at scheduled meetings and CME activities.
- Provide expert clinical care in the fields of general endocrinology and diabetes.
- Foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Adhere to University and VA policies and procedures.
