EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Aviation Engineer Tier 2 in our Hughes Network Systems division. This role will be located at our customer site in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities : Lead the overall requirements for the Aero Operations Teams to include Technical Operations and the Atlanta Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
Provide engineering teams with insights and requirements for the design of tools and systems that align with operational needs.
Define automation requirements to optimize tools and systems to drive organizational efficiency and cost savingsAct as a bridge between Engineering, Development, and PMO to foster collaboration and alignment between critical departments.
Primary escalation point for the Tier 1 technicians at the MCC-Atlanta.Hands-on leader with 5+ years of operational experience, ideally from an aviation-centric service provider background or VSAT / Satcom.
This ensures a deep understanding of operational needs.
