The role of the RNSupervisor is to be responsible for the operation of the nursingdepartment and facility as well as organize and maintain staffingguidelines to meet resident needs.

Communicates and ensures thatpolicies procedures practices objectives and goals are carried outto attain maximum resident care.

Demonstratesadministrative / clinical expertise which is consistent with theelished standards of Nursing Practice.

• RNSupervisor organizes oversees & supervises igned unitactivities & staff ignments & demonstrates clinicalexpertise which is consistent with the elished standards of NursingPractice
• RN Supervisor will identify &respond appropriately & timely to patientneeds
• Monitor observe & doent vital signstreatments administered & patientresponses.
• RN Supervisor will administermedications & treatments asneeded
• Communicate and direct services ongoingor any plan / concerns / information to appropriate team membersresident family or medical staff asneeded
• Identify & follow disciplinaryaction as stated in policy
• Collaborate withinterdisciplinary team physicians & othervendors / services
• Perform RN essment toresidents post incidents or change incondition.
• Lead & direct emergencysituations (Fire alarm Elopement etc.)
• Maintainaccurate nursing report staffing sheets & censusroster

Requirements :

• Current & good standing RN License in Stateof New York
• Experience with geriatric / shortterm rehab / Alzheimers patients isdesirable
• Progressive nursing experiencesupervisory experience preferred
• Dedicated toproviding extraordinary quality compionate care to eachresident
• Genuinely interested in helping illinjured disabled & elderly
• Have patience& willingness to ist any residents &coworkers
• Have excellent communicationinterpersonal customer service & organizationss
• Able to work well under pressure flexible& will work harmoniously with allstaff
