• The location is in Corvallis, Oregon
• The working schedule for this role is nights, 3 x 12 rotating weekends
• The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday requirements are as needed

Key Responsibilities :

• Care will be provided to pediatric, gynecological, and obstetrical patients in collaboration with local OB / GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, Pediatric Hospitalists, Lactation Consultants, and a highly skilled nursing team
• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports; delivery rate averages 850 births per a year, and a low primary C-section rate
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administering non-intravenous medications
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members

Qualifications :

• Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
• 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
• BLS / BCLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications
• STABLE and perinatal related RNC certifications preferred
• Basic Fetal Monitoring skills, Labor and Delivery experience and OR / C-Section circulation experienced preferred
• Basic Perinatal nursing, Med / Surg and / or Mother / Baby post delivery experience preferred
• Special Care Nursery Level II or III or equivalent experience in care and stabilization of sick neonate preferred
• Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
• Basic computer skills
• Professional, friendly attitude
