Machine Operator Job Details :
- Schedule : 6am-2 : 30pm or 7am-3 : 30pm
- Pay Rate : $17-$20 depending on experience
Machine Operator Job Description :
- Operate multiple machines used in the production process following company safety guidelines and policies.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards; observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected.
- Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
- Verify counts on finished products to determine if product orders are complete; mark or tag identification on parts; load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances (forklifts).
- Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks.
- Prepare raw materials for processing.
- Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained.
- Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Machine Operator Job Requirements :
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Machine operator experience of some type or has been trained on specific machine processes.
- Ability to be trained to learn basic computer skills, as well as to become proficient in company specific software.
- Ability to stand for 8 hours a day, bend, stoop, kneel
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetively
