Job description Hazmat Technician
Ambipar Response CES, Inc. is an environmental service company with multiple facility locations that currently has an immediate opening for Hazmat Technicians .
We are willing to train the right person. This position is one of responsibility and trust. As such, it requires the utmost professionalism, integrity, and dependability.
The core responsibilities of this position are as follows :
Responsibilities :
- Safely operate equipment and vehicles per company policy.
- Available for on-call emergency response service, including the clean-up of hazardous / non-hazardous waste spills, site remediation, and waste management.
- Confined space entry and tank cleaning
- Be available for overtime and out-of-town work as requested.
- Ability to engage in strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy equipment.
- Accurately complete and submit time sheets and vehicle logs.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in and around offices, yards, warehouses, and trucks.
Qualifications :
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must complete all required training
- Ability to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods
- Work in extreme weather conditions and temperatures
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic

Experience :
- Restoration : 1 year (Preferred)
- Hazmat Response : 1 Year (Preferred)
License / Certification :
Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)
Willingness to travel :
25% (Preferred)
