Summary :
We are looking for a Administrative Assistant to support the Master Resilience Training Center for the Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR).
The Administrative Assistant supports the Performance Center Managers (PCM) to accomplish all administrative, coordination, training, and logistics functions.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Deliver resilience training programs to individuals and groups within the responsible for ordering and receiving any supplies, property accountability, assisting with travel, and training management functions as directed by the PCM.
- Maintain office filing and storage systems, both electronic and physical.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and presentations.
- Develop and maintain a filing system for important and confidential company documents.
- Provide administrative support for operations team, including data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet management.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of company events and meetings, including making travel arrangements and accommodations.
- Perform other administrative tasks and duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge :
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures, regulations, and policy pertaining to the Department of the Army.
- Shall speak, read, and comprehend English to the extent that they can read and understand printed regulations, written orders, operating procedures, training instructions and materials, and perform the duties assigned.
- Must have a professional appearance that is appropriate for their position and adhere to facility dress codes. Contractor employees shall conduct themselves in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).
Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate degree OR a minimum of 10 years of prior military service with experience providing administrative support.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant.
- Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) (Tier 1) background investigation.
- Must be a US citizen
