Position : Director of Clinical Quality, Disease Management, and Case Management

Employment Type : Full Time, Day Shift (8a to 5pm)

PURPOSE OF POSITION :

The Director of Clinical Quality, Disease Management, and Case Management reports to the Vice President of Quality and works closely within the Quality team and in collaboration with other operational and clinical teams to administer the organization's Quality program and workplan.

The primary aim is to achieve quality care and service goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS :

  • Participate in strategic project initiatives, including design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support across quality projects.
  • Direct the development and advancement of skillsets and business subject matter expertise of the Quality team members.
  • Work directly with Senior management to develop strategic quality initiatives.
  • Contribute to monthly staff meetings, ensuring appropriate information is reported and communicated.
  • Maintain mutually beneficial relations with physicians.
  • Assist leaders in department indicators and compliance activities.
  • Prepare presentation reports with action plans and evaluations.
  • Supervise the development and progress of investigative analytics and ad hoc requests related to quality of care and service.
  • Collaborate with internal and external business units to identify opportunities to enhance program outcomes.
  • Identify, lead, track, and develop action plans for continuous improvement related to quality and star initiatives, work plan, and performance dashboards.
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategies to improve member experience and quality outcomes.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
  • Build a first-in-class clinical quality, case, and disease management program.
  • Provide training, orientation, and performance appraisals of supervisory staff; ensure team develops new data competencies.
  • Portray professional image : follow dress code; communicate with internal and external customers in a professional manner.
  • Process Improvement : Continuously review and implement improvement steps as needed or directed.
  • Oversee the quality clinical team in quality programs.
